Iraqi PM heckled during address to Congress

Now, how dare he thank the evil US Government for helping liberate Iraq from Saddam. Who does he think he is showing gratitude? It's not like Saddam killed over 250,000 of his own people, 100,000 Kurds, aided terrorists, or threatened war on his neighbors.

Just remember how good an ally the Saudis have been, kicking out the US military and not letting them remove Saddam in 2003, also 15 of the 19 hijackers were from their nice country. And yes, while Egypt and Lebanon and Jordan are US friendly, for now, they can be fair weather friends at that. Israel's been our one true ally there. Dumping Israel would make no sense.

Howard Dean, Gary Coleman, and others pull the Ostrich Move

As you know, Israel is in a war for its survival, and as you know there are some who think Israel ought not to have taken the offensive on Hezbollah.

“If you think what's going on in the Middle East today would be going on if the Democrats were in control, it wouldn't, because we would have worked day after day after day to make sure we didn't get where we are today. We would have had the moral authority that Bill Clinton had when he brought together the Northern Irish and the IRA, when he brought together the Israelis and the Palestinians.”

Moral authority? Clinton had moral authority over his human cigar humidor, but not anyone else. Clinton coaxed Rabin into playing patty cake with Arafat, which did NO GOOD. You had the intafada of 1995-1996, and then 1999-to now. Yeah, the same Democrats who let W Virginian congressman rant how The Jews are manipulating the war in Iraq. The same morons who want Joe Lieberman out of the Senate, because he's NOT LIBERAL enough. The same twits who had 8 years to stop Bin Laden and didn't. The same morons who had ample offers from the Sudan and Afghanistan to hand over Bin Laden, which Clinton rebuffed during Zippergate. His mind was elsewhere methinks.

Yeah, and as far as peace works, tell that to the Israelis being blown to bits in Haifa and every other border city by terrorist missiles. Sorry, Dean, we've had enough Neville Chamberlain talk, we're past due for a Churchillian response. I say, let Israel clean house. They've done it before. Well, came close til Madeline Halfbright and the other toadies told Israel to stop defeating its enemies that blow up kids and Holocaust survivors every day.

This sounds familiar. Didn't the appeasers ignore Hitler, until he slammed into Poland on September 1, 1939? Didn't the any price crowd try to bury their heads, and continue to do so, despite September 11, 2001? Eerie how September is a month for shocking and decisive moments. WWI began in or around September 1914, well August to be accurate, but how creepy.

We can't ignore this war on terror. Israel is just another, well, the most consistent fighter on terrorism. They've done it since 1948. Hop off the boat, fresh with DDT powder, staring at your blue arm tatoo from German hospitality in WWII, just to grab a gun and fight the Arabs. No peace will ever be given to Israel. They're gonna have to fight for it now, like they did then. And we'll still have ostriches acting like this isn't happening.

Didn't you all learn from WWII? Ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away.

Israel Kicking Tail Despite All Warnings

Let's see, now does Israel really need our help right now? Later, maybe, but now, not so much.

Let's see, they've won in the following conflicts.

1948- the 1948 War.
1956- Suez Canal Crisis
1967- Six Day War
1973- Yom Kippur War
1973-1979- Revenge for the Black September Munich Massacre and other attacks
1982-1985- First War in Lebanon
1987-1989- First Intafada
1999-now- despite giving up land, they Israelis are re-occupying the Gaza and West Bank Areas

2006- Lebanon.

Now, since everyone, but the US and UK are condemning Israel, you can draw one of two conclusions:

Either, Israel will lose due to pressure from the outside and give up.

OR

Israel will continue precedent, tell the rest of the world minus their allies, to cram it, and continue the war until the rest of the rats of Hezbollah are DEAD.

I think, it's option two Alex.

North Korea launches missiles into ocean

Well, while some scoff at North Korea's missile launches as failures, bare in mind these are test runs. Won't be laughing if these twerps hit Japan or somewhere farther. Now, so far, the North Koreans don't have continental firing capabilities, unless Clinton sold those to them along with the nuclear reactors they got in 1994.

Take some slight consulation, they have a couple of missiles, and we can respond much better. In that case, there will be more seaside land in South Korea. Kim Jong Il best watch it, lest he want the North to cease to exist and the South becomes an island.

Well today is an interesting day. Not only does President George W Bush turn 60, so does Sylvester Stallone, aka Rocky.

Both Sly and the W are 60 today.
Both are in unusually good physical shape for men their age.
Both are Republicans.
Both are friends of Arnie and Bruce.
Both are Baby Boomers.

And jokingly, both are accused of being hit in the head too many times.

Well salud, Rock, Mr. President. May you two age gracefully. Some of us are clinging to youth as best as we can.
