Ted Kennedy: London Plot is Bush's Fault

Ted Kennedy, barely a few hours after the thwarted London attacks said that terrorism increases were due to George W Bush's policies. Kennedy must have forgotten to mention the following that were Bush's fault also.....

1979- Iranian ISLAMOFASCISTS that later formed Hezbollah took the US Embassy, holding 53 Americans hostage for 444 Days. President Jimmy Carter figured destabilizing the shah was a good idea. Letting a country with billions of barrels of oil go fundamentalist was a good idea, right? Wrong. Operation Eagle Claw was a failure and we lost 5 Americans trying to get the hostages out. Only when Reagan took office did the hostages get out, despite lengthy negotiations with terrorists.

1982- Hezbollah bombs the US Embassy in Beirut, killing dozens. That had to be Bush's fault, even though he was in the oil business in West Texas, thousands of miles away.

1983- the US Marine Barracks are bombed by a Hezbollah suicide truck bomber, killing 241 Marines and military personnel. Across town, the French Barracks are also bombed, killing over 40 Foreign Legionnares (these guys are the toughest of the French Army).

1984- US Embassy Annex was bombed, killing 20 or so Americans, wounding dozens. That same year, a Royal Jordanian Airlines flight was hijacked to Beirut. Only after the Hezbollah backed jihadists tortured and murdered 2 US Air Marshals.

1985- TWA Flight 847 Athens to Rome was hijacked by Hezbollah, taking the plane to Beirut and Algiers. During the stop in Beirut, US Navy Diver Robert Stethem was tortured and killed by the Hezbollah hijackers. Though, Stethem volunteered to be a hostage, and rather he get killed than a civilian. He was shot and dumped on the tarmac.

1985- The Achille Lauro ocean liner hijacked by the Abu Abbas Group, Islamofascists also, and shot and killed 69 year old NY Jewish man Leon Klinghofer. Now, surely Klinghofer provoked them on Bush's orders, right? Wrong. Abbas and his men were about to escape on an Air Egypt Flight when the boat docked in Alexandria, and the plane was diverted to Italy by US Navy Fighters (on orders of President Reagan, executed by Colonel Oliver North). The Italians took the terrorists into custody, but let them go to avoid further terrorist attacks.

1985- fall- Italy did not avoid terrorism like they thought, as another group shot up airline ticket counters at the Rome International Airport and in Vienna at the same time.

Let's not forget the hostage taken in Beirut either, those were all Bush's doing also.... Ted.

-William Buckley, US CIA Station chief, tortured and killed in Beirut in 1984, body dumped infront of the US embassy annex.

-Colonel William Higgins- US Marine colonel with UN Peacekeeping mission taken in 1988, killed early 1990- tortured then hanged.

-Others like Terry Anderson, lived, but were held for almost 6-7 years in captivity.

I suppose that was all Bush's fault too.

Funny, when the terrorists were out on a killing spree in the Clinton Administration, Ted was quiet as a church mouse. When the other party gets into office, it's all false rage. Ted, why don't you sober up and wake up. Terrorists don't need any reason to kill, they prefer excuses.

This morning I spilled a large cup of coffee all over the countertop and floor in the kitchen right as I was about to leave the house for work. I blame Bush.

    Kennedy's an ass.
