61 Years Ago, Today
August 6, 1945-
The B-29 Bomber, Enola Gay, flew over Southern Japan, and dropped its payload, one atomic bomb on Hiroshima.
While it ushered in nuclear conflict, and second thoughts by the scientists, the blast did save millions of lives from a possible Ground War in Japan. So, while it wasn't pretty, it did serve a purpose.
Thank you to the men of the Enola Gay who helped prevent millions of Allied and Japanese deaths, with one bomb blast. Well, also to the crew of Bocks Car, that would hit Nagasaki a couple of days later.

We could sure use these great men today, 61 years later.
Instead, we're stuck with these fools in the White House today. Oh wait, they're all on vacation this week.
Just think, with the right leaders, Iraq would have been over in a day.

Well, had we seen the writing on the wall about Pearl Harbor sooner, how different the world could have been.
