Kicking Us While We're Down: Deutschen beaten ze Dead Global Warming Warning Horse.

Danke Schaen, Scheissekopfen!

Not only is New Orleans flooding worse, than when the storm hit, the German liberal ragsheet, Der Spiegel, is rubbing it in.......

Can't wait to see how the Germans will whine if they get flooded anytime soon......

Don't expect any help from Germany or anyone else, either. We helped out in the tsunami, and every other damn disaster, and we'll still get shafted. Some allies. And these are the ingrates and backstabbers you liberals love kissing up to.

Screw them and screw you.

We won't forget this......

    It's a shame that they're right.

It's a shame you're a jackass, you traitor. OK, if we account for 25% of the Global Emission, who is the other 75% from?

I don't really want to jump into this argument -- so you guys can duke it out -- but I would like to add one point to that question you've presented mooney.

If we account for 25% of the global emissions (i have no idea where that figure came from), and we are a country of 280 million, then roughly 5% of the world's population is somehow expelling 25% of the global emmissions.

Like I said, I'm not getting involved here, but doesn't that calculation strike you as a bit unproportional?

Our 5% of the world's population consumes 25% of the world's resources, so it's not unreasonable. As for the other 75%, the rest of the world is trying to do something about it. Bush isn't.

I'm a libral and I don't think it's particularly wise to give away money. Most of the tsunami $ probably got ripped off anyway. You are right - nobody helps us. We spend so much time minding everyone else's business we do not have any left to mind our own. We shouldn't live in a state of denial about global warming... but I doubt if it had anything to do with this. "Conservatives" just want to take all restrictions off business so they are free to plunder everything. Of course we have more government in peoples personal lives... like no abortion, no contraceptives, and no social aid programs... oh... here in Texas a pharmacist would not have to dispense birth control pills if he were jack-ass enough to say he had a problem with it. Maybe it would be wiser to look int global warming and other enviroment issues and leave personal descisions to the individual. Maybe China should give us some help in this disaster.. they passing us up very quickly(they have the IBM PC biz) and India will take all our IT software jobs... our idiot government is letting the do some or our undersea nuclear submarine communication software. Really smart and plenty of software engineers are out of work here in the US. Librals think into the future instead of what they can rob for themselves today.
