OK, here's what's bad, and it's gonna get worse.
New Orleans is a city of about 400,000 people. About 100,000 of them and many other tourists are stranded there.
New Orleans is about 12 feet below sea level. The storm surge could be about 20-25 feet high, and the city will more or less be flooded.
The Southeast tip of Louisiana and parts of Mississippi have refineries that accounts for about 25% of US domestic oil output. Prices are gonna go up, again........

Needless to say, prayers and thoughts to all of the citizens of New Orleans, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and any other soon to be hit areas.
