If You Can't Read English, Don't Drive Here
OK, some of you will think I am a hater. Tough crap, I don't care.
First, let me vent. When you cannot read the native language of this land, why are you driving around? If you can't read STOP or SLOW or any of that, should you be on the road? Should you have a license? Should you be behind the frickin wheel in the first place?!? No, not according to me.
However, I and many others, have been overruled and are dodging accidents daily. We can thank liberals and greedy companies for this.
When accidents with a light rail train in LA occurs, and over a dozen are killed because an illegal immigrant parked an SUV on the tracks and tried to kill himself, there is a good question. How the hell did he get a license and why was he allowed to cause this accident?
When a family is killed when a Mexican truck driver tips over an 18 wheeler, crushing the family inside a vehicle. The same question is asked. And another... Why in the name of God did the company owner of the truck employ such a questionable driver?
When accidents occur and an uninsured illegel hits you, why do they speak another language, only, until you mention the police or a lawyer? What is going on here?
Sadly enough, we are to blame. We have not written our officials or ridden our legislators to pass tougher laws and enact other measures to keep America's borders secure and safe. We have not been attentive and think it's just someone else's problem.
Companies that we support are to blame. Companies will employ cheaper labor even if they do not speak the proper language. The workers may not know regulations like their higher paid American or Hispanic American counterparts who are citizens. I hope that bottom line is worth it to them, because it sucks for those of us in accidents.
We need to stress the importance of learning one language in this country. Not to discard your heritage, but to know English like you would your own language. We ought not to have to change everything. When you go overseas, many can speak English, but would prefer you speak their language when in their homeland. Fair is fair. Unfortunately, it's not the ruling principle. The principle is diversity and inclusion versus language, borders, and American culture. Thanks liberals, now we don't know who we are.
This needs to change, or expect a jump in premiums, taxes, and other costs.
Tell that to the Hollywood idiots who are chauffered around, but want illegals and non-English speaking or reading to drive on our streets.

Just for the record, you don't have to read English to drive. We now use international signs. No different from an American driving in a foreign country.

Rumpelmintz, you don't think 10 cents more an apple is a small price to pay for our welfare system to be exhausted and America being a seive that will let in all kinds of people. True we have lots who want to live in and contribute to the US. But what about drug lords and terrorists? Do you think that's something we can take a chance on. You're right about some of the companies, but they are encouraging this second America, and it's killing California and my home state of Texas. 10 cents is worth it for me.

Buff, I see no problem with some signs, but if we have to go fully bilingual like Canada, expect a jump in taxes across the board. I prefer they learn our language. We have to learn whatever when we go whenever, or just take the bus or train when outside the US.

Rump, relax, INS and our cops are sooooo lax that your cleaning guy could do your place and probably clean the Capitol Building in every state and still not get tagged. He's working, I got no truck with folks who work. He tries to learn the lingo and can keep his heritage, fine. It's those looking to leach off and exploit I do not like. I am for LEGAL IMMIGRATION, Illegal Immigration, not so much....
