Vacation, moving, sick a few days, all the above. Yeah, I took some needed time off, some not by choice.

Welcome back and Happt New Year.

Well, you sure KICKED OUR ASS!

Texas deserved to win, they played a great game.

I didn't go to UT, but thanks for the comment. It is a double-edged sword, since I will be hearing about this for the next 20 FRICKIN YEARS! And yes, I expect some of the cocky burnt orange and whitebreads to chim in anytime soon!

Well I guess that should be me then.

It was a hell of a game - but great to see UT come out ahead. Vince was especially fun to watch.

even a NON UT fan can appreciate the outcome of that game. I have disliked tu for over 20 years now, but definitely wanted to see them shut the sc assholes up... which, they did, most convincingly.
The Texans need to rethink their strategy of drafting Bush... Vince young would bring in MUCH more $$$, unless they make him a deal, take one more year, we'll draft Bush this year and do whatever it takes to draft you first next year... imagine, a Bush,Young backfield.... boggles the mind, then, maybe they could draft Mc Neal out of A&M, have Bush, McNeal & Young. McNeal playing like the Pittsburgh(remember when they called him "Slash"?)quarterback used to swapping from quarterback to wide receiver to running back, flopping Young around also.... interesting possibilities there!

was that '...most convincingly' perhaps a tribute to anyone? Perhaps it was '...most conVINCEingly'

Vince wasn't too bad. Now here's the real dilemma for Vince and his loved ones. Let Vince complete college and give UT another good year in football, but he risks a debilitating injury, screwing a chance of a football career. OR Vince joins the NFL, completes his studies, later, or bit by bit, and makes money, but if injured, has plenty socked away for consolation.

What Would Vince Do? What would you do?

And nice to see Kevin is still alive. How was your NYE, pal?

It was pretty nice - thanks for asking. I've been meaning to call you back but have just been busy with work this week.

And if I were Vince - I'd take the money.

If I were Mack - I'd sure want Vince back, but I think he'll be ok with him leaving. I mean, a 50 mil or so contract is pretty hard to walk away from.

    ...or so I would imagine
