HERE'S TO YOU, MRS. ROBINSON.....

Yesterday, actress and icon Anne Bancroft died after a battle with cancer. She was 73. And the wife of comedian/actor/director/producer Mel Brooks. Feel bad for Mel. Bancroft got an Oscar for The Miracle Worker, a film about Helen Keller. Anne's best known role is as Mrs. Robinson, the lecherous mother, in The Graduate which made a star of Dustin Hoffman, and Katherine Ross, and had other celebs in bit parts early in their careers.

Bancroft will be missed.
