Bush pledges Africa Aid
Bush now pledges Africa Cash. Is this going to work? Money was pledged back in 2003 and 2004, at the insistence of many, and oddly enough during the Liberia and Ivory Coast civil wars. America seems to be the object of aid requests, and at the same time called selfish. In short, we're hated and loved, feared and respected, and the most powerful but most humble land. We could be FRANK SINATRA! (humor, laugh). Yeah Africa can get all the help it needs, but the leaders there need to manage it better and NOT put it in their own pockets. Let the UN administer that.

Let the UN send their own freaking money to Africa.
Our constitution doesn't allow for such expenditures.

Americans are a bunch of tightwads. Or maybe you're just not as wealthy as you say you are. America gives 0.16% of GDP as foreign aid. Even France does better than that (0.36% of GDP)!!!
Hahahaha - you're meaner than the Fwench!

Leo, no more Kool Aid for you. Tightwads? Tightwads that rebuilt Europe in 1945-1955, man did that bite us in the ass. Tightwads that did Lend Lease, so you don't speak German. Tightwads that gave to the tsunami relief.
Leo, you're a fool.
