Charlie Rangel Compares Bush "Lies" to The Holocaust
Apparently, Charlie Rangel is not out of steam, just yet. Figures that this blimp would have enough hot air to rival Ted Kennedy.

Story and my own comments:
Rangel: Bush Iraq 'Fraud' as Bad as Holocaust
Top House Democrat Charles Rangel complained on Monday that the Bush administration's decision to concoct a "fraudulent" war in Iraq was as bad as "the Holocaust.""It's the biggest fraud ever committed on the people of this country," Rangel told WWRL Radio's Steve Malzberg and Karen Hunter.
Oh OK Charlie, the biggest fraud in the US was Enron. The 1 M dead Iraqis do not compare to the Holocaust. They are similiar as they died horrible deaths at the hand of a tyrant. Also, Charlie, that "fradulent" war was voted into affect by the MAJORITY of the Senate, and House, including Democrats, Chuckie!
Concocted a war? How unoriginal, since Teddy Kennedy said that LAST YEAR. Also, try and prove it. You'd have to climb inside Bush's mind to show that he INTENTIONALLY LIED and had MALICE when getting us on a war footing. Iraq was unfinished business from 1991 and you know it. The 9/11 Inquiry has cleared Bush of wrongdoing. Tony Blair was cleared by the Lord Bulter Parliamentary Investigations. And yes, Charlie, our own troops hold no grudge, so why do you? Is it concern or politics? It's politics, methinks.
"This is just as bad as six million Jews being killed. The whole world knew it and they were quiet about it, because it wasn't their ox that was being gored." The Harlem Democrat charged that top Bush officials "made up [their] mind to go into Iraq long before 9/11. And every one of the players who made this decision - they were part of this plan to do it. From Rumsfeld to Cheney, Wolfowitz, Bolton, every one of them - Perle - [they were part of the] plan to put our kids in harm's way long before 9/11."
The World could have done something about The Holocaust, and I don't recall you doing much about it, Charlie. Also, what access do you have to say that Cheney, Wolfowitz, and Rummy were hellbent on Iraq? Do you have a source? If so, name it, Charlie. Bolton? Bolton was not in the White House then, moron. Also, Perle, resigned at the outset of the war. He sat on info about 9/11, and merely wrote a book. Rangel, you have no historical perspective. The US did try to stop it. The War Refugee Board with Secretary of Treasury Henry Morgenthau ring a bell? The Catholics who provided aid and got orders to save Jews? Yeah, the whole world. So I guess Oskar Schindler was quiet too.
Rangel insisted that American blacks and poor whites are dying in Iraq, while those who supported the war aren't paying any price.
Yeah right. I recall middle class folks being called up to service in the reserves. Also, Marine Lieutenant Ilario Pantano was a Wall Street Broker, who quit his job and signed up after 9/11. Yes, it's the poor man's war, again. Get back to reality Charlie. This war on terror encompasses everyone. There is no draft, and those "poor people" stepped in when you probably would not, had you been younger. How you were a war hero, is beyond me.
Asked to clarify his Holocaust comparison, Rangel told Malzberg:
"I am saying that people's silence when they know terrible things are happening is the same thing as the Holocaust, where everyone would have me believe that no one knew those Jews were killed over there."
Funny, you didn't say a thing as Saddam was slaughtering millions in Iraq, Iran, and Kurdistan. Also, you've been awfully quiet about Fidel Castro's 55 years of terror and murder in Cuba. And aren't you pulling for LIFTING the embargo on this tyrant also? Charlie Rangel, you have got to be kidding me.
Also, horrible things have STOPPED in Iraq. You thank those troops and their commanders. However, you were seen sitting down at the State of The Union, when the GOP and Iraqis and some Democrats were standing up FOR the Iraqi elections. They won't forget your insults.
Charlie Rangel, your 15 minutes were up, long ago.
