Annan Warns John Bolton to Cooperate with Envoys.

Awww, this sounds like the, "you'd better behave, young man," crap that happened in junior high. Yeah, too bad when the teacher turns his back another kid usually picks a fight with the scolded kid. This time, the scolded kid will hit back, unlike lightweights like Adlai Stevenson, and Bill Richardson and Richard Holbrooke..... Bull in a china shop may be the understatement of a lifetime.

Yeah, the UN really enforces its behavior:

-Like when Nikita Krushchev took of his shoe and slammed it on the table when he heard the U2 Spy Plane was shot down over USSR.

-Adlai Stevenson's moment of bravery, telling Ambassador Dobrinyin/Zorin- "you'll get my response when hell freezes over...." during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Adlai did fine, then.

-Iraq's Ambassador booing and hissing the Security Council's Resolutions against Iraq.

-Castro walking into the UN in 1962, with a loaded pistol. Where was security there?

-Letting PLO Boss and Mass Murderer Yassar Arafat speak, period.

Let's take a cue from the UN, (stifling laughter).....

He cautioned that Bolton won't get what he wants if he tries to take on other U.N. diplomats alone.
"I think it is all right for one ambassador to come and push, but an ambassador always has to remember that there are 190 others who will have to be convinced, or a vast majority of them, for action to take place," Annan said.

Sure, like when Kofi let the Germans and French and Russians BLOCK all of the security initiatives against Iraq. Kofi can get bent.

Although, one ally said this.....

Ambassador Ronaldo Mota Sardenberg of Brazil, a member of the U.N. Security Council, said if Bolton is the president's choice, "We are happy with the decision. We will not question it in any way."
"Let's not prejudge his behavior. Let's wait for how he comes and what he says here," Sardenberg said. "Now his responsibilities are precise. The tendency here at the United Nations is for us to work together. So I hope that this general tendency will prevail. That's our expectation."

Well, Bolton is in, and we will see what he does. Democrats are waiting for the "See! I told you so!" Mode, while the GOP and moderate DNC are patiently waiting.
