German TV Show Portrays 9/11 as Bush Plot
OK, and from the land of Germany, which brought you such nuggets of wisdom as, "God is Dead," "When I think of culture, I grab for my gun," and "You follow the Fuhrer or God, there is no following both;" they bring "The Truth" about September 11.
Well, it's a dramatization, says the German government, and they are backtracking saying it is fiction:
A German diplomat in Washington said no one in Germany took the plot seriously because it was "pure fiction." "It was so out of line with what people really think," the diplomat said, adding that the episode does not deserve further comment.
Well, gee, Herr Diplomat, why did you guys make it to begin with?
Here's a synopsis courtesy of the Washington Post:
Sunday night's episode of "Tatort," a popular murder mystery that has been running on state-run ARD-German television for 35 years, revolved around a German woman and a man who was killed in her apartment.
According to the plot, which was seen by approximately 7 million Germans, the dead man had been trained to be one of the September 11 pilots but was left behind, only to be tracked down and killed by CIA or FBI assassins.
The woman, who says in the program that the September 11 attacks were instigated by the Bush family for oil and power, then is targeted, presumably to silence her. The drama concludes with the German detectives accepting the truth of her story as she eludes the U.S. government hit men and escapes to safety in an unnamed Arab country.
As ludicrous as it may sound to most Americans, the tale has resonance in Germany, where fantastic conspiracy theories often are taken as fact. Many Germans think, for example, that the 1969 moon landing was faked, and a poll published in the weekly Die Zeit showed that 31 percent of Germans younger than 30 "think that there is a certain possibility that the U.S. government ordered the attacks of 9/11."
In fact, three of the hijackers who seized control of commercial airlines on September 11, 2001, including the ringleader, Mohamed Atta, purportedly had ties to a Hamburg, Germany-based al Qaeda cell.
ARD, and ARD-produced television shows, are funded by a monthly tax on German televisions. The network plays a role similar to the British Broadcasting Corp., or the Public Broadcasting Service in the United States, which is nominally independent but funded by taxpayers. "Tatort," which translates to "Crime Scene," is a drama with a rotating cast of actors solving mysteries in weekly episodes set throughout Germany.
Germans taking conspiracy theories as fact? Get out of town! I thought the Germans were logical. They say they are smarter than the dumme dumme Amerikaners. Wow, herrenvolk, does Triumph of the Will or The Eternal Jew ring a bell? Those were two Nazi films you dummescheisses took as literal fact, back in the day.
Sure, sure, you say you're more enlightened, but judging by your fake moonlanding rants, Bush/Cheney 9/11 coup theory, and continuing Neo-Nazi activity, I'd say you Nazis are going underground. The ill-will and bitterness never went away, it just went beneath and festered. This TV show is proof of it.
I have yet to take seriously the credibility of a VOLK that believed the Jewish Blood Libel and Superman Theory to be truth, while an actual terrorist attack and hearings on it are not. The last time I took a German lecture on conspiracy theories and evils by the US was never. And judging by this latest bilge from the Germans, probably NEVER.
I guess conspiracy theories are truth only when the far left thinks it up.... (stifling a laugh)
Also, this show was reported to have portrayed the Arabs as victims and worthy of sympathy. Now, Germans, how about the 6 Million Jews you killed? Where's your sympathy for them? And as far as Arabs go, it's ironic as many Germans want their borders shut to these so-called sympathetic Arabs. America is EVIL, but it's fine for them to shut the borders and deride the immigrants. HYPOCRITES.

Bob, where were you back in 1989 to advise George Sr? I would have thought Germany would have gone bankrupt since the East was in such disrepair- thank you USSR.
