Just wanted to let you know some news from Steve and ask for some prayer for him! Please read the note from him below. Have a wonderful Tuesday my friends!



Hope all is well in Houston! I need to ask for your prayers though, as I may be coming home sooner than expected. Since the rainy season is almost over, the rebel activity and attemps to overthrow the current government of Chad have escalated. The rebels have overtaken a key city between where I am and N'Djamena (the capitol -- which is the goal of the rebels), but still to the East. I found out today that ExxonMobil has began evacuations of the families of expat employees in N'Djamena, but no word yet on what we are going to do here in Kome. According to sources here, the rebels will be able to make it to N'Djamena in about 24 hours if they continue in route. I should have more information either tonight or tomorrow morning. Commence praying now!
