NY Times Book Review: Forrest Gump Author Book TOO PATRIOTIC

Screw the NY Times and Patricia Cohen for bashing this book! This lady ought to realize herself and her ancestors would have been air pollution were it not for the bravery of the Greatest Generation. Winston Groom, author of Forrest Gump, wrote 1942: The Year That Tried Mens' Souls, and shows the reaction and response to WWII and the immediate aftermath of Pearl Harbor and the Nazi Declaration of War. Apparently Mizz Cohen is too sophisticated to appreciated real history. Screw her.
