24 UPDATE

Last night was a frickin good ending. It was a nailbiter right at the end.

Of course, Jack and CTU stop the nuclear missile.
Of course, Marwan dies.
Of course, Tony lives, and he and Michelle get back together.
And of course, Chloe and Edgar are still bickering.

Meanwhile, a CTU agent is picked up by the Chinese and squeezed for info. The agent spills his guts about Jack. They never say what happens to him...... Let's hope the canary got eaten.

However, Jack was betrayed over to the Chinese for his role in the embassy raid that nabbed a suspect and led the way to Marwan. President Logan, though officially against killing Jack, gave his shady security advisor a green light to send an agent to kill Bauer. President Palmer of course calls Jack and alerts him, thanks to the keen ear of Mike Novick who heard the murder plot. Palmer burns his bridges with Logan, who is now a hero. Palmer may run again......

Back at CTU, Jack is tracked by the Secret Service killer and Tony. Shots are fired and Jack is apparently hit. An upset Tony orders everyone out minus he and Michelle and Chloe. Jack was hit, BUT it was made to look like death. Bauer is snuck out of CTU and he walks off into the sunset, as a drifter. No doubt, Jack will be back......

Season 5 should be interesting.
