24 UPDATE, IT GOT GOOD LAST NIGHT!
OK, for all you 24 nuts, here's an update and some commentary.
Last night, Jack Bauer and CTU were alerted to a terrorist and accomplice on a boat in the LA Marina. The terrorist was shot and the accomplice was cuffed. Marwan heard of this and did not call a hit, but called in Amnesty Global and told them to get a lawyer for a man who may be "unjustly tortured." Sure enough the lawyer and a liberal LA judge tell CTU to shove it, and put their investigation on hold, until they can get their legal fight in. Meanwhile, millions are in jeopardy as Marwan's men steal a nuclear warhead and detonator.....
The lawyer, a Jewish guy (bet Israel detests anyone who defends a terrorist, and absolutely LOATHES so-called Jewish guys and gals who do), gets preachy and snotty about the Constitution. Jack has to back down, even though he and Mike Novick and Tony agree that the suspect needs to be broken. For the first time, I saw Edgar ready to commit violence on someone, Mr. Suspect. Jack, then tells CTU to fire him, so he can go private citizen and get the info that way. Dessler and Buchanan agree. So Jack corners the suspect and locks him in a car, after punching out his US Marshal Bodyguard. Jack goes to town on this thug......

Here's the commentary.....
I find it odd that the terrorist knew to call Amnesty Global (International) to get a lawyer to defend his former associate. But, it's fitting as he knew the lawyer and the leftie judge would gum up the works and insure further death and destruction. Last night, 24 grew a pair of balls and went back to what it was earlier this season. Edgy, closer to truth, and a reflection of our times.
Now let me ask you this question: If you had a suspect who knew info on a deadly attack that could claim your family's lives, all of your friends, and millions of others, would you interrogate or physically break the guy? How far would you go?
Me, I'd like to go Jack Bauer. First, tell suspect that his lawyer and the ACLU can kiss my ass. Second, inform him this is a sound proof room. Do not grin, at all, just stay pissed. Then start with a few seconds of yelling. Choke hold, break some bones, and if that doesn't work. Get out the car battery, plyers, and maybe a blow torch..... If my family and loved ones are on the line, I will use them all and place my underwear on his head if it saves their lives and avoids annihilation of part of my country. I'd pray for God to forgive me, but pray we get what we need from the resistant suspect.......
