Bush Visits Europe, Will It Make a Difference in Relations? Part II
Yesterday I got presumptious and pessimistic. Apparently Bush's trip is yielding some results. As of today, NATO has been convinced and has committed to help in training Iraq's military, the police, intelligence and anti-terrorism forces. Bush had also gotten some reassurances from France and the two actually made some headway. There are still differences over Iran, Syria, Israel and other policies, but so far the "charm offensive" is working.
Good work Mr. President, keep it up and do not let up, not an inch.
