Today is also HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY
On the heels of the 60th Anniversary of the End of World War II, in Europe, Holocaust Remembrance Day is today. Let us not forget the deaths of 6 million Jewish men, women, and children. The murder and extermination of a race. Let us also not forget Hitler's mass-murder of over 3 million Russians, 2-3 million Poles, and over a million other Christians, Catholics, homosexuals, Jehovah's witnesses, trade unionists, socialists, German aristocracy, and ALL who opposed the Nazis bloody reign.
Hitler once said, "The Turks exterminated the Armenians, who remembers the Armenians now? Likewise, who will care to remember the Jews?"
Well, Adolf, you and the Jews are remembered. You're forever etched into Hell. Those you murdered, God Willing, are with Him.
SS Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler said this, "This is a glorious page that will never be written. For you to have remained decent men during this task is a testament to the German people and our ability to do what was right."
Too bad you left a paper trail, Heinrich, and the fact people took pictures of your execution squads, gassings, pogroms, and other sick activities (rape, butchery, and medical experiments on live humans). Not written? Hardly. Ask Sir Martin Gilbert, Simon Wiesentahl, Richard Rhodes, and many many others. Also, your idiot squads took personal photos of their atrocities, so there is ample evidence that it happened, testimony from Allied troops who found the camps and former POWs. This is a tragic page, well chronicled Heinrich. Too bad you took cyanide and didn't hang for what you did.
Let us not forget this horror and make sure it does not replicate itself anymore than it has already.... (Serbia, Rwanda, Sudan, Iraq, Indonesia, China, Russia, South American....)
