Stringent Bankrupcy Law Signed by President Bush
Some of you may not care for this law, and as one of many with debts, it could be viewed as crappy by me. But the President, Congress, and most of America has a point. Bankrupcy should be a last resort and should not be abused. While many may suck it up and have to pay off everything, at least you do so before filing bankrupcy.
Bankrupcy usually means you've hit the end of your rope. Many with medical bills and other extrenuating circumstances file and usually apply. Just wiping of personal or consumer debt is no longer easy to do...... That's good, in some ways. No overload on our courts, and of course it prompts fulfilling agreements and may get us to stop spending more than we make. As one paying for stuff, trust me, this is probably good. Bankrupcy used to have a stigma, then it didn't, now it does again.....
