24 UPDATE

OK, first Jack and Curtis are about to get Marwan, but the new President, emotionally unstable jackass number 1, sends the Secret Service to arrest Jack Bauer. Why? Because Jack broke the suspected terrorist, made him talk and got gooood info. The acting Prez did not want anyone to challenge his new authority (kind of like an evil Dan Quayle Walter Mondale clone) and botched the entire Marwan take down. Marwan is off and his guys are transporting a nuke to the Eastern Seabord, probably NYC, Washington, Boston, Philly, or elsewhere back east.
The VP and Mike Novick are arguing over fault on the botched raid and finally Logan concedes that he is not prepared to make a decision, ON ANYTHING! Novick calls President David Palmer, and Palmer is being rushed to The White House to help The President. Actually make decisions for Logan......
Meanwhile Tony Almeida and Dessler send Chloe with a Field Team to go decode a computer to a lady whose boyfriend is a terrorist. Edgar tried to go in Chloe's place, but was denied. Chloe and team arrive, and in a Star Trek Fashion all of the agents are killed, while Chloe and the girlfriend flee into a CTU car, with bulletproof glass, side doors, panels, and even an engine. The assassins rams the CTU car after shooting an angry awoken neighbor. As he gets out, Chloe shoots him dead with an AR-15. Cool.
Meanwhile Jack and CTU are in pursuit of Marwan, after the President it advised by Novick to let Jack go and pursue the terrorists.....
